Azide groups are useful for coupling via clickchemistry reactions with alkynes. PLA-PEG-N3 is used to prepare micelles ornanoparticles with azide on the micelle surface for bioconjugation via clickchemistry. Hydrophobic drugs is encapsulated in the PLA core for targeted drugdelivery.
